Baby Milly

Isn't she beautiful?

This is Milly and she's about 4 to 5 weeks old and been living with us for nearly a week.

Amy had a real estate house open last weekend and found Milly there. The house has been vacant for a few weeks now. It was pouring with rain and Milly was tiny, skinny and hungry. So Amy rang and asked if she could bring the kitten home for a few days.

Amy is looking for a home for her, through friends and while at work, Milly spends the day with me. This doesn't go down well with our adult cats and there is a fair bit of hissing going on and a few noses so far out of joint, they can smell their own bums without twisting or bending.

Milly is so spoilt, she has some of the bunny play pen set up in Amy's bedroom with a children's plastic party table cloth underneath, litter in a little dish and her very own food and kitten milk supply.

Oh yeah and a hot water bottle with my good tea towel wrapped around it. Thing is now Milly can climb out of the pen and so her little pen door is open through the day and she can run round now.

As I am resting when tired, Milly climbs up on my bed and spends her time with me.

I think she's so cute and Amy is very taken with Milly. Pat is just starting to pat and handle the kitten as he doesn't want to get attached to Milly. James is James and not showing any interest at all.

So this little heart stealer had better get a wriggle on and move out. Last thing we need is another purr-fect little darling living here 24/7.

I'll keep you posted over the next week or so and hopefully with good news saying a family has been found.

Hoo roo.
