Happy Father's Day

First off, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Hope you are having a lovely day.

Sun is shining and it's a stunning day outside, just perfect for gardening. Took me a while this morning, I harvested the last of the chillies and then pruned the plant.

Already there are new shoots all over the bush and with the pruning these new shoots will be given a better chance at growing.

Also this year I thinned out some of the thicker branches and opened it up a bit. Then a lovely little feed of seasol (for the roots), comfrey tea and manure tea in the watering can and watered into the plant. Couple of weeks time the bush will be lush and green again, with this warm weather.

Ducks and chooks are enjoying the warm sun in their run and there is a lot of dust bathing going on. These sort of days are just so lovely it's a shame to be inside on the computer lol.

Also have you checked out My Knitting Box yet? It's a new blog all about knitting my other passion.

On that note..

Until next time....hoo roo

It is such a shame that fathers day isn't universal, ours was back in June. When hubbies mum was alive and living in South Africa, we always sent her a mothers day card on our mothers day, which of course wasn't their mothers day, but at least she knew we where thinking of her!!!
