As Time Goes By.

Noticed that some of my areas are starting to look tired and the cropping is coming to an end. This means I can think about other vegies or salad crops to grow in their place.

This area was started back in April, in the last 6 months we have been fed so well from this area. Lettuces are just about finished and the scrappy bits are always welcomed by the animals. Still using the spring onion, even though a lot have gone to seed. Spinach is nearly finished and the garlic isn't too far off being harvested.

Thinking carrots and beetroot can go in this area.

Broccoli is just about finished and thanks to our "good gardening buddy" Pepe, we have been eating broccoli longer than usual. He convinced me to leave the plants there for the "second" but smaller crop of side shoots. Thanks for that Pepe, though I think the bunnies maybe a tad put out, as they had to wait longer for a good feed themselves. lol

Thinking butter beans and bush beans in this area.

Oh nothing pleases a cook more than scoring a double yoker. This egg came in weighing 105 grams. Egg wouldn't even fit into an egg carton, had to store it on a dish in the fridge. Bet this make her eyes water, when she laid it. eek

On the weather/rain news...... misty shower today. Still hung the load of washing out I washed late yesterday.

Until next time....hoo roo
